Bolton entrepreneur launches ‘Bandobaby’ clothing line worldwide
A YOUNG Entrepreneur from Bolton has launched a clothing brand that he hopes will be a global hit with an inspiring message.
Panah Malji, 26, says that after launching his Bandobaby range website last summer, he has already received more than 200 orders in just five months.
Many of those orders have been international, reaching as far as Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Australia and Bermuda, while famous clients have included rappers Sneakbo and Giggs.
Panah said: âI made a custom jacket for Giggs which is a huge thing for me as I grew up listening to his music.
âAs soon as he followed me up and gave me his address, I knew I had to do something special for him.â The brand is growing rapidly across the UK and will soon be a worldwide hit.
The young designer from Bolton was able to start the business after creating a platform to sell branded sneakers and clothing.
He explained that he aimed to convey an important lesson to customers using the Bandobaby brand, “bando” referring to an impoverished area from which the baby represents an escape.
Panah said: âThe main logo is a cool and fun baby sitting on top of the world, with toy blocks spelling out Bandobaby not glorifying the bando, but glorifying coming out of the bando for a better life to be given to young people. hope there is a better way of life.
âI am an unofficial advocate for mental health, PTSD and anxiety because I suffer a lot with them and I sometimes quote in my clothes such that the hardest prison to escape is your mind presenting the Bandobaby locked in. a prison cell, which is found in the brain.
âThe Bandobaby brand looks like a thug, but in reality its mission is quite the opposite.
“Bandobaby shows their supporters that there is a chance to do something yourself even if you come from a poor area like me and really come from the bottom.”
