Bundle O Joy children’s shopping platform raises Rs 3.9 cr in funding

Bundle O Joy, a children’s shopping platform, said on Tuesday it raised Rs 3.9 crore in a funding round led by CIIE.CO, a start-up incubator set up by the Indian Institute management of Ahmedabad.
Founded in February 2022, Bundle O Joy helps parents find products in clothing, shoes, toys, books and accessories.
The Bangalore-based startup will use the money from the pre-seed round to improve its technology, supply chain and for talent acquisition.
“Children’s retail is a crowded space where everything under the sun is shown together. Today, parents are looking for guidance on what is right for the very rapidly growing child at every stage. This presents a huge opportunity to improve the current suboptimal shopping experience,” said Akriti Gupta, Founder of Bundle O Joy.
“In the coming months, the company plans to expand its offerings and provide an enhanced experience for its customers while holistically examining manufacturing, retail, changing customer needs and distribution, among others,” Bundle O Joy said in a statement.
Vipul Patel, Partner, Seed Investment at CIIE.CO., said, “We believe that Bundle O Joy has identified a void in the children’s retail segment. The existing online platforms, whether horizontal or vertical, do not offer an experience that matches the evolution of the purchasing behavior of parents. We are thrilled to partner with the founding team in the emerging category of personalized shopping experience in children’s retail. »
