College teacher compares vaccination warrants to Holocaust in viral video

A teacher at Red Bluff College, Calif., Compared the COVID vaccine’s mandate to the Holocaust in a TikTok video that was deleted after it went viral.
In her video, Berrendos Middle School teacher Stacy Pearce appeared wearing a yellow star on her chest, protesting the warrant as she explained her views on the school vaccine requirement. She also urged others to join her in speaking out against this demand.
“Why am I wearing this yellow star on my chest? In Nazi Germany, Jews had to wear this yellow Star of David on their clothes to identify, humiliate and isolate them, which is happening today isn’t much different in our school system, âPearce said in the video, according to local news station Action News Now.

“Vaccinated or not, wear this yellow star to defend our freedom,” she added.
Pearce’s comments outraged some people on social media who said it was “disgusting” to compare the health measure to the horrors of the Holocaust.
“It’s not really like that [vaccine mandate]. It makes you a monster. It’s disgusting, âsaid one TikTok user.

Amid the backlash, others believe Pearce had a right to voice his opinions.
âAs long as it wasn’t in the classroom and she was home or whatever, I couldn’t see anything wrong with it,â parent Dennis Galloway told Action News Now.
News week contacted Berrendos Middle School and Pearce for comment.
Thousands of parents protested California Governor Gavin Newsom’s COVID vaccine mandate for students on Monday. The “Our Children, Our Choice” protest, held at the California State Capitol in Sacramento, demanded freedom of choice when it comes to making decisions about their children’s health.
“We are fighting for the freedom to make the medical choices that are best for our children. We are fully prepared to take our children out of public school and hire our own teachers if that is what they want. We are not co-parents with the government, âsaid Tess Van Dusen, the event’s organizer, in a statement.
Newsom’s office announced this month that California will be the first state to require students to be vaccinated against the virus after the FDA grants full COVID vaccine approval for students in grades seven and up, as well. than classes K-6.
