FONDA – Tonight, longtime local race supporter Bill Lake Modular Homes will put on a regular show across all divisions with the CRSA Sprint Cars at the “Track of champions” Fonda racing circuit. The departure time will be 7 p.m.
Regular divisions of the 800-meter Montgomery County Fairground facility include Sunoco Modifieds, Swagger Factory Apparel Crate 602 Sportsman, Algonkin Motel Pro Stocks, Montgomery County Office for Aging Inc. Limited Sportsman and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders.
The CRSA Sprint Cars made 20 appearances at Fonda from 2009 to 2019 with 11 different drivers winning these events led by Danny Varin with four; Josh Pieniazek with three; Cory Sparks, Kyle Smith, Mike Kiser and Jeff Trombley all with two; Dylan Swiernik, John Matrafailo, Tyler Rice, Jordan Thomas and Brett Jaycox all had one win apiece.
Last Saturday at Fonda, Tucker O’Connor (Swagger Factory Apparel Crate 602 Sportsman) and Clayton DuMond (Montgomery County Office for Aging Inc. Limited Sportsman) crossed the finish line first to win the checkered flag in their respective divisions. for their first career victories. at “Track of champions”. Congratulations to these two pilots.
Leading the wins in their respective divisions after seven racing events, so for 2021 are Stewart Friesen in the Sunoco Modified division with five wins, Chad Edwards in the Swagger Factory Apparel Crate 602 Sportsman division with three wins, Jeremy Tyrrell in the county. of Montgomery Office for Aging Inc. Limited Sportsman with two wins, Nick Stone in the Algonkin Pro Stock division with two wins, Ken Hollenback with five wins in the SOHC class and Slappy White with four wins in the DOHC class in the Fonda Fair Four Cylinders .

The doors will open at 4 p.m. with the hot laps at 6 p.m. and the races at 7 p.m. Admission for adults is $ 13, seniors (65 and over) are $ 11, children 11 and under are FREE! Admission to the pit is $ 35 (non-members) or $ 30 (members of the Fonda).
Since 1953, the “Track of champions” Fonda Speedway has hosted the best of stock car racing.
