On Friday, Eva Longoria was spotted promoting Casa Del Sol tequila at the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival in Miami.

The 46-year-old actress seemed to be enjoying her time at the event as she posed for several photos with different bottles of liquor.

Longoria donned a cute bright orange ruched dress with short sleeves during her appearance at the festival.

The artist originally launched the company, which she co-founded, at last year’s Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, and she’s been heavily involved in promoting her line ever since.

The Desperate Housewives actress added several elements of shine to her outfit with plenty of jewelry items.

The performer’s pretty brown locks fell over her shoulders and contrasted perfectly with the bright tone of her clothes.

Longoria previously spoke about Casa Del Sol during a lengthy interview with Food & Wine, where she pointed out that her company is trying to create a new standard for tequila production.

“You would think there are more brands supported by Mexico, and you would think there are more women, but that’s not the case. Our distillery is 100% Mexican and the CEO of the distillery is a woman,” she said.

The performer also said she wasn’t necessarily interested in financial gain when she started working with the company.

‘For me, it was never, ‘Oh, what’s the next thing I could sell? There really is a genuine connection that I have not just with the tequila category, but with this particular brand,” she said.

Longoria has downplayed her status as a public figure in favor of promoting her brand’s ethical practices in tequila production.

“Instead of being forward-thinking, Casa del Sol is about heritage and cash. It’s really about the tradition of sustainability – how they grow agave, how they pay fair wages,” a- she declared.

She added that “tequila can’t be led by celebrities because it’s about craftsmanship and art.”

Longoria also said that being “able to honor the tradition and craftsmanship of what tequila is is what excites me the most”. We need to have more friends who make tequila this way, instead of in an exploitative way.

The Dora and the Lost City of Gold actress pointed out that the people who produce Casa Del Sol spirits are trained professionals who have mastered their craft over time.

“We have so many generations of tequila makers behind us. They know exactly what they are doing in the tequila region; they have been doing it for centuries,” she said.

Longoria concluded by stating that she had replaced one of her favorite nightcaps with a glass of her own spirit.

‘Drinking wine at the end of the day really put me to sleep. Having tequila at the end of the day is like a high five,” she said.
