Rebellious disobedience never gets old… especially when you’re young. Case in point? Fred Durst may have found his mini-me living near Green Bay, Wisconsin, as seen on stage crushing Limp Bizkit’s “Break Stuff” at the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin on Sunday night (22 may).

For a moment, it almost looked like this kid’s moment to shine wasn’t going to happen. Fred Durst seemed to close the show as our soon-to-be young grinder sat looking a little sad on Durst’s La-Z Boy throne during the closing. Saturday Night Live musical credits played and Durst welcomed the opening acts for hugs and greetings onstage.

But as the music played and moments of congratulations were shared, Durst stopped the celebration just long enough to say, “”Wait, wait, Lethal. I promised this young man a little favor,” and that’s when “Break Stuff”’s familiar aggressive guitar line gave fans their encore.

At this point, our new hero, dressed in blue checkered pants, a yellow shirt and a brown vest, a blue bow tie and a white hat with blue edges, approached the microphone and came face to face with Durst. And while children can sometimes get a little lost in the spotlight, this youngster showed his defiance in every move and every word, leaping onto the stage, raising his middle finger in line and saying every four-letter word that you might hope. for without receiving any repercussions.

“Let’s hear it for this little motherfucker,” Durst said at one point, before the song broke up when the kid and Durst faced each other in a circular stare, building the tension, then jumping cathartically from the position. hunkered down with the whole scene of people just celebrating joining in this energetic moment.

Durst grabbed the kid’s hand and lifted it to the sky like a champ just before the house music (aptly “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” by Simple Minds. It was the culmination of a set of 15 songs, leaving the audience and this kid with a memory they won’t soon forget. Plus, Durst shared this special moment on his instagram stories.
