Rams player Van Jefferson welcomes baby after Super Bowl win

Some LA Rams fans were scared Odell Beckham Jr. girlfriend would go into labor during the Super Bowl and pull him out of the game, and while that didn’t happen, another player became a father for the second time just hours after the team’s big win.
Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson and his wife, Samaria Jeffersonwelcomed their second baby together on Sunday night, after Samaria gave birth during the Super Bowl.
The baller posted a photo to his Instagram story after winning the big game, showing himself lying in a bed while holding his newborn baby in his arms.
The couple, who are high school sweethearts, are also parents to a 5-year-old daughter bella.
Ahead of Super Bowl LVI, Samaria said Athleticism that she was ready if their second child was born before her February 17 due date.
“I feel pretty good – I definitely feel like 40 weeks [pregnant]”, she said at the exit. “I definitely feel the pressure and the pain. Nerves for Van, nerves for our family – but that’s okay.
She continued, “Like any other game, I’m going to be there this Sunday and I’m going to keep calm…and pray to God that my water doesn’t break. I will be there 100%. I wouldn’t miss this moment for anything in the world. I will be 40 weeks pregnant at the Super Bowl, supporting my husband 100%.”
Samaria attended the game, but she left SoFi Stadium on a stretcher after giving birtha team spokesperson confirmed ABC News. According to reports from AthleticismSamaria told Rams support staff and her family not to tell Van if she had contractions during the game, which her husband objected to.
“He’s going to play. He will continue to play,” she said. “I said, ‘You play, I’ll see you in the hospital afterwards. It is what it is. I will never take that moment away from him.
